Emerson Stewart Group Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Thomas Durr as General Manager Mining + Industry.
Thomas is a Mining & Mineral Process Engineer with more than 25 years experience in the oil and gas, chemicals and pharmaceutical industries. Thomas most recently held a Senior Project Director's role with Turner and Townsend and was responsible for the growth of its capital projects group servicing the Australian resources sector.
Prior to Turner and Townsend, Thomas was Project Operations Director with Bovis Lend Lease Technology for the UK North/Central Europe and Middle Eastern regions and Head of European Project Management with Nova Chemicals. Thomas also spent a number of years with Kvaerner Process in the USA where he held various positions in both project and operations management and was responsible for re-engineering Kvaerner's capital project execution strategy.
Thomas specialises in project and program management, business process re-engineering and business development. He has the proven ability to transfer these skills into a number of industries across a wide range of international businesses.
He has an international reputation for delivering safe, highly complex, high value projects both on schedule and on budget.
